Let's see, quite a bit of time has elapsed since I last wrote on my blog. I'll try to keep up with this but I can't promise ;)
Where to start, we are still in Hawaii, at least until October 2012. We welcomed a third son into our family on October 22nd, his name is Jacob Noah and he has been such a blessing. We couldn't have asked for a more laid back, loving, and easy going baby! He sleeps wonderfully at night, going 7-9hrs which is wonderful! Aidan started Kindergarten this past fall, he loves school and has made so many great friends. He turns 6 on January 25th, I can't believe how fast the last 6 years have flown by. I remember when I was pregnant with him and being so excited to be a mommy. Caleb is 2 1/2, and is our little hellion, he loves to "test the waters" so to speak, but he's a good kid and has only love in his heart for his brothers. He loves playing cars or reading with his big brother, and playing and singing to his little brother. It seems like just yesterday Caleb was the baby, and now he's almost 3. Where has time gone?
My time is usually spent taking care of and playing with my little guy's which I love, and wouldn't trade the world for. They are my life, and the reason I get up every morning. Dan & I couldn't be better! He is my soulmate, we most definitely complete each other as a whole. While life may not always be perfect, and things may not always go our way, we are always there for each other and that is what matters.
Well Jacob is starting to stir as it's almost feeding time, but until next time (which hopefully won't be too long, lol)...........

Happy Halloween!
Fall is finally here, even though it doesn't feel like it here. I can't believe we have been on the island for a year now. 2009 has definitely gone by very fast, I hope the next 2 years pass just as well. I miss being around my family & friends, miss the changing of season's, watching the leaves change colors and falling to the ground. I am sure when we move back to the mainland that I will write saying how I miss the warmth.....
Everything is going good for us, the boys are growing like weeds. Aidan really loves preschool & he has made a lot of friends in his class. He is now also playing pee wee soccer, which he really enjoys. I'll post some updated pictures later on today after we go trick or treating around our neighborhood. Caleb is walking full time, and has been for over a month, he is actually starting to run now, lol. Funny how fast little ones pick up things. We've also noticed that he has allergies and so he's on medicine to help with that, just some claritin, to help with his sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to update, I hope that once my husband is back home that I can keep up on it more.
Happy Halloween Everyone!!

Happy Hump-Day =)
Happy Wednesday!! Not much happening on this side of the water. Went to the gym this morning for about 45 minutes, I was still sore from yesterday's workout and so I didn't want to push myself too far and not be able to re cooperate the way I needed to being that I'm the only one here with these two munchkins. The confidence I needed to start going to the gym finally hit, and I am glad, if it weren't for a friend here that told me they have childcare for just $3./hr but it's only for 3 hrs a morning during the week but it's better then nothing & it's a great way for me to get the day started. I'm proud of myself, and I will continue going at least 4 days out of the week...Caleb has had a hard time adjusting to being dropped off into someone else's care. He is a mama's boy right now, I'm sure when Daddy gets home, he'll be just like Aid and be a daddy's boy, but for now he only wants me, or Aidan for that matter. Even with Aidan being there on some days (since he is in preschool T/Th) Caleb still cries...it breaks my heart to know he is crying but at the same time he needs to get used to it. He's my baby, both of them are, and its a tearjerker when I have to leave either of them somewhere that they don't want to me. Thankfully Aidan loves preschool & doesn't mind the childcare at the gym, he just thinks it's school all over again, lol....
Well that is all that is really going on here, not much, but just thought I'd update =) Hope everyone is having a fantastic week.

We Miss You Nana <3
I cannot believe that one year ago today, we got the call that there was nothing more that the Dr's could do for Dan's grandmother, his Nana, the first person I met from his family just 8 yrs prior. She was always so lively, always out and about, busy with working at Price Chopper & she was out almost every night during the week, at one function or another for the Elks, or any of the other clubs she belonged too. We miss her so much, I miss calling her, and talking to her. Aidan remembers her, and asks about her from time to time, and I feel so bad that we were not able to go to New York and say our Goodbye's to her. She never met Caleb, he was only a few weeks old and we were getting ready to move across the United States. I know that she looks down on my boys from up above and keeps them safe. But I wish that Dan could have gotten the closure he needed from seeing her one last time.
Nana, We love you & We miss you!!! We always will!
Nana, We love you & We miss you!!! We always will!
Been a while....
I am so behind on here it is not even funny. We are almost half way done with this deployment! It's been okay. I'm not complaining, obviously I miss him & our boys miss their daddy but we know he is safe & doing his job and that when the time is right he will be back home w/us.
Aidan started preschool on August 4th, and he loves it. The first day I thought he wouldn't want me to leave but as soon as he got in the classroom it was like I didn't even exist anymore. He only goes on Tues/Thurs. from 8:45a-11:30a. It's just enough I think to get him started with school, next year when Kindergarten starts it is all day here, from 7:45a-2p and I know he will come home exhausted and ready for bed, lol. He gets two pages of homework every Thursday but he comes straight home & does it then, except this week, he had a cold and so he didn't feel like doing much of anything when he got home. But he felt better yesterday and so he did it all then!
Caleb is almost 14 months old! Where has the time gone? I remember when Dan & I were bringing him home for the first time & I was so nervous as to how Aidan would react with him home and how I'd ever be able to keep up on the laundry, cleaning & everyday chores that a house requires but I got into a routine and man, before we knew it we were moving out here to Hawaii and saying goodbye to the life we had known for the past 3 years. Caleb is still only crawling, I'm in no hurry for him to start walking. I want Dan to be able to see him take his first steps, or at least for Caleb to still be wobbly at walking when he gets home. He has 9 teeth thus far, 3 coming in, those mean ol' 12 month molars! Poor kid, I know his mouth must hurt but he just keeps on going.....
That's about all the new stuff going on here.....boring huh?! lol

Caleb loves the pool
Yesterday Dan left for a few days so a friend and her son went with us to the pool....boy was I in for a surprise! Aidan has never been a big water person, he takes a while to get used to it and then he will be fine but I think he scares himself if he cannot touch the bottom of the pool. Well I got in the pool w/Caleb expecting him to scream and hate but it was the total opposite! He instantly started splashing around and tried to kick off of me...I really wish I could have gotten some pictures but there was no way I could since we were all in the pool...
Next time we go, I will be sure to snap a few.
